Recertification Courses

Teachers can earn graduate credit through Baker’s School of Education to meet state recertification requirements. Students with a bachelor’s degree can meet recertification requirements by completing 8 graduate credit hours while students with a master’s degree need to complete 6 graduate credit hours.

  • Continuing education courses allow teachers to increase their knowledge in a specific subject area, their classroom effectiveness and their earning power.
  • Classes are held year-round with new courses starting every six or seven weeks. Day and evening courses are available during the summer.
  • Students can take courses on-site, online or blended, which includes face-to-face instruction of all course content plus online discussion.
