The Associate Degree Program at Baker University

Baker University in Overland Park and Wichita, Kansas offers an advanced associate degree program for adult students to excel in their continuing education. The Baker University associate degree is an undergraduate degree requiring adult students to complete coursework in general education, major-specific education and electives. Adult students that earn their Baker University associate degree have proven that they have a broad base in general education with special training in their chosen area of study.

Associate of Arts in Business

Degree Description Baker University offers a 60 hour program providing an educational experience that prepares students for more advanced study and introduces them to the fundamentals of business. The AAB program is designed for adults who are striving to begin or complete their college degree. The Associate of Arts in Business (AAB) program stresses skills development in the areas of business communication, accounting, economics, finance and business relations. Students take one course at a time and are able to complete the program in less than two years. Upon completion of the AAB program students will have satisfied the general education requirements needed for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) degree. The AAB program offers courses in the following areas: Financial Planning, Introduction to American Politics, Advertising and Promotion, Mass Media and Society, Human Ecology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
